2023年！今年も気合いを入れて、また一緒に学習していきましょうね。

今回は英語で観光名所を紹介したいと思います。

Asakusa is one of the famous places for visitors in Japan. （浅草は観光客にとって日本の名所の一つです。）

The Tokyo Sky Tree, a landmark of Tokyo, and the historical atmosphere of Asakusa. The contrast between the old and new is one of the sights to see. （東京のランドマークである東京スカイツリーと歴史情緒を感じさせる浅草の街並み。新旧のコントラストは見ておきたい風景のひとつです。）

The Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) appears in front of you, and the wind and thunder gods on either side are also powerful.（目の前に現れる雷門、両脇の風神・雷神も迫力があります。）

It is also famous for its food, which you can enjoy while taking in the Japanese atmosphere. （食べ歩きも有名で、日本の雰囲気を味わいながら楽しむことができます。）

Japanese ukiyo-e prints and goods with sword designs will be unusual to foreigners. （日本の浮世絵や刀のデザインのグッズなどは外国人にとって珍しいことでしょう。）

You can also enjoy riding in a jinrikisha (rickshaw), trying on kimonos. You can feel the Japanese way of life. ( また、人力車に乗ったり、着物を試着し楽しむことができます。日本人の生活様式を感じることができます。)

Shibuya’s Scramble Crossing is another famous tourist attraction. （渋谷のスクランブル交差点も有名な観光スポットの1つです。）

Recently, with the proliferation of SNS, it seems to be introduced even more overseas than before. (最近ではSNSの復旧により、海外でも以前より更に紹介されているようです。)

Traffic at the scramble intersection can reach 500,000 people a day on a busy day. And the number of people passing through a single green light can reach 3,000.（スクランブル交差点の交通量は、多い日で1日50万人にも及びます。そして、1回の青信号で行き交う人々の数は3000人に及ぶこともあります。）

Center Street, the main street of Shibuya, is lined on both sides with a variety of stores. Cutting-edge fashion, all kinds of food. Many stores are open until late at night, making it a place where tourists can enjoy themselves throughout the day. （渋谷のメイン通りであるセンター街は、両側に様々なお店が立ち並んでいます。最先端のファッション、あらゆる食べ物。夜遅くまで営業しているお店も多く、観光客にとっては1日を通して楽しめる場所です。）
